Here’s a pretty fast way to level an end grain cutting board. The base of the jig is just a big box, wide enough to hold the cutting board. The board is shimmed up, so the router bit can reach it, and held in place with wedges. The “bridge” allows my router to travel back and forth, removing about 1/16″ per pass. I’m using a 1-1/8″ straight bit.
