If you need to trim some Melamine…from the bottom of a cabinet door, for instance, we used a router. You need to use good clamps and a guide to ensure that the router is held to the line. The first one we taped the area to be cut with a celu-tape, the second no tape. We did 4 passes, each one deeper than the other. No splinters or shattering. Just take your time.
